Cheryl L. Carter, CPA, Principal

With over 23 years of experience in public accounting, Cheryl Carter is a principal in Reznick Group’s Baltimore office.  She focuses on tax and consulting, working closely with public and privately held companies, LLPs, LLCs, S-corporations and high-net worth individuals to understand their options and optimize their financial positions. She has worked in a wide variety of vertical industries, including manufacturing, distribution, real estate development, real estate investment and software industries.

Cheryl has helped individuals and organizations navigate a wide spectrum of issues, including: merger and acquisition projects -- some of which involved foreign investors, IPOs, intercompany transactions, and stock/asset transactions. Prior to joining Reznick, Cheryl was a tax partner with two other accounting firms: Deloitte and Kolb+Co., both located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She also served as an executive on the tax planning staffs of two large manufacturers, WH Companies, Inc. and Owens-Illinois, Inc.
