
Gail White is a principal in the audit and accounting practice of Reznick Group's Atlanta office. She has more than 20 years' experience in providing audit, tax, and consulting services to clients, primarily in the areas of real estate, nonprofits, governmental compliance, and construction. Gail has experience in the management of medium to large-sized audit and tax engagements requiring compliance with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), RD, state agency and A-133 requirements, as well as specific financial reporting requirements for nonprofits. She is responsible for all phases of her engagements including budgeting, planning, and direct supervision of all fieldwork.
Gail runs the firm's HUD (REAC) electronic filing process, annually scheduling, training staff, troubleshooting, and reviewing more than 1,100 financial statement submissions for housing communities, lenders, and public housing authorities. Through her experience in this area, she has become a recognized resource in HUD compliance matters. Gail is also responsible for developing and updating some of the internal audit programs utilized by the firm. In addition, Gail designs, develops, and presents courses on regulatory compliance, reporting, and auditing requirements for RD, real estate owners, and management agents. She has presented a continuing education course on federally-assisted housing programs for the Georgia and Florida State Societies of CPAs, management agents, and staff accountants.
