Hampton Mallis is a Principal in the firm’s Atlanta Tax Practice. With over 14 years in public accounting, Mr. Mallis has diverse experience in providing income tax compliance, income tax planning, and business consulting services to individuals, corporations, and partnerships.

Mr. Mallis concentrates in the area of real estate, providing tax services to developers, syndicators, and funds in the affordable housing, multifamily, commercial real estate, and hospitality industries. Other duties include tax compliance and planning for property and fund level clients and review of cost certification and carryover allocations. His clients include publicly-held Fortune 100 companies, non-profit housing organizations, and experienced developers and managers across the United States.

He also represents a number of renewable energy developers and integrators and is experienced in the federal, state and local taxation and compliance for such businesses.  In addition, Mr. Mallis has experience with advising and compliance for energy tax credit funds, in addition to commercial building energy efficiency tax incentives and those involving low income and historic tax credits.

Prior to joining the firm in 2001, Mr. Mallis was a Supervisor at a mid-size local accounting firm where for seven years he specialized in providing income tax compliance and planning services to individuals, partnerships, and closely-held and publicly-held corporations.
