
Henry Paula is a tax principal at Reznick Group with significant experience working with U.S. and foreign multi-nationals in mergers and acquisitions, complex capital structures, multi-state and multi-national tax planning, and accounting for income taxes (FAS 109 and FIN 48). His clients have ranged from closely-held companies in their early stages to several large SEC-registrant audit and non-audit clients with operations in nearly every state and more than 50 countries. Henry has worked with a variety of clients in industries that include real estate, software, telecommunications, pharmaceutical services, biotechnology and industrial products. He has experience in cross-border acquisitions, divestitures, financing structures, transfer pricing and intellectual property migrations.
Prior to joining Reznick Group, Henry was a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He also served three years as a managing director in the corporate finance group for a major U.S. bank's capital markets operation, and as the U.S desk tax partner in Paris for another Big 4 firm. Henry has taught courses in international taxation, general corporate taxation, taxation of mergers and acquisitions, and FAS 109/FIN 48.
