James D. Naber, Office Managing Principal – Boston

James Naber serves as Reznick Group’s Office Managing Principal for the Boston office. He has more than 30 years of executive management experience and a proven track record in strategic business operations, staff development and client service. James is currently focused on serving the audit and business advisory needs of financial services clients with industry experience that includes banking, investment management, hedge funds, insurance and capital markets. His areas of service include internal audit, IT audit, risk management, financial institution regulatory compliance and audit, tax and business process consulting. 

James joined Reznick Group in 2011 from Wilmington Trust Corporation where he was the Chief Audit Executive. In this role, he had responsibility for oversight of the company’s internal controls, managing the internal audit, fraud and SOX compliance departments. Prior to this, he was with professional services firm Accume Partners as a banking practice leader and the Managing Director of the firm’s New England region. In this role, he opened the Boston office and built a practice serving the audit, compliance and business-processing needs of regional and community banks. this, James was also Partner in Charge – Financial Services for RSM McGladrey, Inc. in the New York Metro region and, prior to this, was with KPMG LLP in New York and Boston.
