Jonette Hahn, Principal

Jonette Hahn is a principal in the National Affordable Housing Finance division of Reznick Group, based in the Baltimore office. Jonette specializes in structuring and obtaining financing for affordable housing and economic development projects involving leveraged financing and public/private partnerships. 

Prior to joining Reznick in 1996, Jonette was Senior Underwriter for the Maryland Community Development Administration (CDA), where she gained extensive technical, managerial and administrative experience related to public finance during her 13-year tenure.

Areas of expertise include applications for affordable rental housing using low-income housing tax credits and tax-exempt bonds, financial advising for public housing mixed-income mixed-finance developments leveraging capital funds and HOPE VI, and various HUD programs such as Mark-to-Market, Section 236 decouplings and Section 202 refinancing.  From her experience in public housing and FHA insured loans, Jonette has worked with virtually all HUD programs.  She has in-depth knowledge of the specific Internal Revenue Code requirements of bond financing and low-income housing tax credits, and matches federal regulations to state allocating agencies’ regulations to assure compliance with the rules of all funding sources.
