Krishnan Chettiar, CPA, Office Managing Principal

With 28 years of accounting and tax experience in the areas of real estate, private equity, technology, government contracting and the service industry, Krishnan Chettiar is responsible for tax engagements of large real estate clients while serving as the Managing Director of Reznick Group’s India Business Group and the Managing Principal of the Chennai office.

Since joining Reznick Group in May 2006, Krishnan has established the Chennai Center, which provides all types of tax returns preparation, audit services and numerous internal accounting & other services for the Firm and its clients. The India Business Group is also planning to provide services to other CPA firms and large businesses throughout the United States and globally.

Prior to joining Reznick Group, Krishnan was a Principal in the Tax Services Group of a Big Four Accounting Firm in McLean, Va., where he served as the leader for the Tax Operations Practice and as the Real Estate Practice Leader for Tax Operations Group for the Mid-Atlantic Area. Krishnan is active in the Indian community in the Washington, D.C. area and in the business community in India. He has worked with many companies from India with operations in the U.S. and with numerous U.S. companies that have operations in India.
