
Kurtis Wolff has more than 25 years of experience providing accounting and auditing, transaction structuring, financial reporting and management advisory services to clients, he specializes in business risk management, corporate governance, internal control and internal audit.
Kurtis is responsible for all aspects of quality control of the Accounting and Auditing function for the firm including oversight for establishing and maintaining client acceptance and continuance, engagement performance, consultation and quality reviews, and firm-wide risk management Recognizing the impact of risk management and quality and compliance on client service and firm profitability, Kurtis has implemented significant organizational and procedural changes in this rapidly growing firm, including modifying the organizational structure, expanding the scope of the national A&A function, and introducing new policies and procedures regarding client acceptance and continuance, engagement performance, consultation and quality reviews, and firm-wide risk management.
Kurtis frequently serves on national task forces for developing issues in the accounting and auditing profession. He was appointed to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' (AICPA) Auditing Standards Board in November of 2010. He also recently completed a three-year term as a member of the Center on Audit Quality's (CAQ) SEC Regulations Committee and currently serves as a member of the CAQ's Audit Practices Task Force and the Smaller Firm Task Force.
Prior to joining Reznick Group, Kurtis managed accounting and auditing services as a Big 4 lead client service partner for several Fortune 500 companies and served public and private entities with revenues from $25 million to $17 billion. He designed risk management and risk-aware business planning processes that were successfully implemented by many of his multi-billion dollar clients, improving business predictability and profitability.
