Melissa W. Boone, CPA, Principal

Melissa Boone is an audit principal in Reznick Group's Charlotte office. She has more than 14 years of public accounting experience including audit, accounting, tax, cost certification and other relevant accounting services. Throughout her career, Melissa has provided services for a variety of clients but is currently focusing on the real estate and nonprofit industries. She provides financial statement audits, tax return preparation, evaluation of internal controls, and compliance with OMB A-133 and also works to keep her clients updated on government required standards, and performs various agreed upon procedures engagements.

Melissa’s responsibilities at Reznick Group include the planning and audit program development of all assigned audit engagements. Additionally, she works closely with the audit staff providing guidance, feedback, and assistance with all aspects of the engagements performed by the office. Because of her extensive knowledge and experience, she is able to act as a valuable resource to her clients, providing them with insight and advice to improve operations and efficiency while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and standards.
