
Phil Cornblatt is a tax principal with more than 18 years of experience providing tax consulting and compliance services. His specializations include partnership taxation and structuring; public charities; private foundations; and tax credit consulting for low income housing, historic rehabilitation and New Markets.
Phil has extensive knowledge of real estate transactions and partnerships involving non-profit entities. He serves on the Exempt Organization Taxation Technical Resource Panel of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the Nonprofit Committee of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Phil has written numerous articles on various issues affecting nonprofit entities, most recently an article on intermediate sanctions published by the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. He has taught classes related to tax issues affecting nonprofits for the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and for the Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations. In addition, Phil speaks at various conferences each year related to various tax topics.
