
As the Atlanta Office Managing Principal, Wes Hudson leads the 200+ person office and serves on the firm’s national real estate executive committee as well as operating in the office’s commercial real estate and multifamily housing practice.
With more than 20 years of experience in public accounting focused primarily in commercial real estate, Wes has extensive experience with public and private real estate companies and specific experience with private equity funds, pension funds investing in real estate, commercial and residential property owners and operators, hotels and resorts, real estate developers, homebuilders and land developers. Additionally, he is involved in SEC reporting for real estate clients.
Appreciating and understanding the complexities of real estate deals, Wes also helps clients by facilitating key resources such as private equity, debt, real estate consulting and tax credit programs clients can maximize. Through this leadership and knowledge, Wes and his teams deliver high quality results to clients, helping to ensure their business models are not only supported but enhanced.
Wes is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and is on the Atlanta chapter’s board of directors (treasurer), Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce’s transportation board, and is an active member in the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). He is a frequent moderator and speaker at notable commercial real estate events throughout the year. Wes is also a contributing writer to the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s “Real Talk” blog on various topics like commercial real estate, renewable energy and factors influencing the Atlanta economy.
