Marie Conroy, tax partner, will co-present at the Georgia Society of CPAs Real Estate Conference on June 17 at the Cobb Galleria during the session, "Acquisition Due Diligence: Legal Considerations of Acquiring and Repositioning Distressed Real Estate Assets." The session will discuss key legal due diligence considerations and tax implications applicable to the acquisition of distressed assets, including environmental challenges of restructuring loans. The session also will explore some of the trends emerging as distressed properties are repositioned.
