Marshall Phillips is a senior manager in the Charlotte Real Estate Consulting Group.  He joined Reznick Group in 2004, and works with clients in structuring real estate transactions.  Mr. Phillips’ practice focuses primarily on Historic Tax Credits, Affordable Housing Tax Credits, Solar/Renewable Energy Tax Credits and Incentives, and New Markets Tax Credits, assisting developers and investors with structures based on these credits.  Additionally, Mr. Phillips works with a variety of State Credit programs and oversees due diligence on behalf of investors and syndicators.  Prior to joining Reznick Group, Mr. Phillips was a Corporate and Investment Banker providing transaction services for a variety of middle market companies, and was a financial analyst for a family-based private equity fund.  Mr. Phillips has approximately 14 years of total experience in finance and accounting with a focus on sourcing equity and debt capital for real estate transactions as well as operating companies.
