Michael G. Hartman, Reznick Capital Markets

Michael Hartman is a Director at Reznick Capital Markets.  He works with a diversified group of real estate clients, providing services that include debt and equity financing, mergers & acquisition advisory, due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions, financial forecasting, cash management and investment strategies.

Prior to joining Reznick Capital Markets, Hartman was a managing director of finance and development for Venture Captive Management. While there, he oversaw all financial requirements for the firm’s captive insurance clients. Prior, Hartman was a partner with The Carlyle Group’s Seniors Housing Division.  His responsibilities at Carlyle included deploying $100 million in equity capital over a three year period.

Hartman was also Senior Vice President – Properties Division for Sunrise Senior Living, Inc.  At Sunrise, Hartman served as the senior manager responsible for originating, structuring and executing corporate finance transactions through services that included the sale and management of joint ventures, due diligence, deal structuring and financial analysis. Prior to Sunrise, he was in the investment banking industry most recently with Deutsche Bank.

Hartman earned an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. He received a BA in Economics from Connecticut College.
