Mr. Haun represents clients in all aspects of tax issues surrounding business law, including corporate, partnership, limited liability company, joint venture issues with a concentration on tax credits, including energy tax credits, low-income housing tax credits, historic tax credits, new markets tax credits and biodiesel tax credits. He has represented syndicators, developers, lenders and investors with respect to single investor funds and multi-investor funds.
Prior to practicing as an attorney, Mr. Haun worked as a certified public accountant, where he represented business and individual clients on a wide variety of tax issues, including tax audits. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Florida.
Mr. Haun received his B.S.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Central Florida in 1991. He received his J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Florida School of Law in 1994, where he served as a senior research editor of the Florida Journal of International Law. In 1996, he received his LL.M. (in Taxation) from the New York University School of Law. He is admitted to the both the Georgia Bar and the Florida Bar.
