
Eric Rosen has been administering the New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) program at SunTrust Community Capital since 2002. He works with a team that generates direct and fund equity investments and debt financing in community development projects throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic states. This group primarily focuses on the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), Historic Tax Credit (HTC) and NMTC programs. Mr. Rosen has been directly involved in the application, award and deployment of SunTrust’s aggregate $295 million in NMTC allocations. He has also played a role in all of SunTrust’s investments into awarded Community Development Entities. Mr. Rosen has been with SunTrust since 1999, and before joining SunTrust Community Capital he gained experience in commercial banking. He is active in his community as a former Board Member of the Atlanta Community ToolBank and currently serves as a Founding Commissioner on the Georgia Charter School Commission.
Mr. Rosen received his Bachelors degree from Florida State University in 1998.
