
Linda advises organizations involved in housing, and community and economic development, including CDFIs and CDEs. She is a consultant on funding and tax credit applications, as well as on strategies to access funding through other Treasury or government programs. She assists with policy and technical issues related to the firm’s representation of the New Markets Tax Credit Coalition and the CDFI Coalition.
Previously, Linda served as Deputy Director of Policy and Programs at the CDFI Fund within the Department of the Treasury, and prior to that, as the first manager of the New Markets Tax Credit Program launching the program in 2002. Linda was with Fannie Mae as it launched the American Communities Fund, which invested equity in hard to finance community revitalization transactions. She led investment teams on some $150 million of redevelopment investments in addition to assessing investment opportunities in numerous communities across the country.
Linda's career in housing and community development began at the Congressionally- mandated National Housing Partnership (NHP), which owned, managed and developed rental housing under a variety of government assistance programs.
Linda is a graduate of Michigan State University, and received her J.D. from California Western School of Law.
