Brett Weal is a Senior Manager in the Reznick Group’s Real Estate Consulting and Energy Services practices and is based out of the Atlanta, Georgia office. At Reznick Group, Mr. Weal is responsible for advising clients on structuring real estate and renewable energy transactions under partnership tax guidelines. Brett is also responsible for the compilation and analysis of financial models, as well as the due diligence of real estate and renewable energy projects. His experience with low income housing tax credits, historic rehabilitation credits, renewable energy credits and new markets tax credits has led him to be involved in every stage of development of the respective projects. During his time at Reznick Group, Brett has helped to structure tax credit transactions with development costs in excess of three billion dollars.
Brett has broad knowledge of and experience in the areas of public and private real estate syndication, real estate developments, and structuring renewable energy portfolios. His clients include major publicly-held Fortune 500 companies, non-profit housing organizations, and experienced real estate and renewable energy developers across the United States.
Brett has participated as both instructor and public speaker at numerous professional seminars and presentations dealing with low-income housing, historic, new market and renewable energy tax credits.
