Reznick Group Helps DOE Promote Tax Incentives for Renewable Energy Projects

Department of Energy (DOE) logoJune 26, 2009  - The United States Department of Energy (DOE) has enlisted Reznick Group to help promote the use of federal tax incentives for hydrogen and fuel cell projects.

The firm's presentation "Fuel Cell Tax Incentives: How Monetization Lowers the Government Outlay" is currently on the DOE website. Lee Peterson from Reznick Group's Renewable Energy practice made the presentation at a meeting of the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technical Advisory Committee in February 2009.  Additionally, Reznick Group helped the DOE develop a fact sheet: Fuel Cell Financing for Tax- Exempt Entities. Also on the DOE website, this fact sheet was distributed internally to other federal agencies so that the government can use tax equity deals to lower its costs.
