February 6, 2009 - Reznick Group, a top 20 national CPA firm, today announced the appointment of George Klenovich, a former Ernst & Young partner, as Office Managing Principal of the firm’s Chicago office.

“George brings more than 20 years of experience in public accounting to Reznick Group and our clients in the Chicago area,” said Ken Baggett, Reznick’s Managing Principal and CEO. “He has lived and worked his entire life in the Midwest and has a thorough understanding of the business issues facing large private and publicly-held companies throughout the region. Our firm and our clients are extremely fortunate to have George’s leadership at work here in Chicago.”

At Ernst & Young, Klenovich had served as Office Managing Partner and Director of the Assurance Practice for the St. Louis office where he focused on strategic growth markets for the Midwest Region. Previously at Ernst & Young, he was a member of the national construction industry group and served as lead assurance partner on large privately-held, private equity-owned and public companies. Industries on which Klenovich focused at E&Y included manufacturing, leasing, medical services, sports franchises, wholesale/distribution, gaming, and for-profit educational institutions.

According to Baggett, Klenovich succeeds Reznick’s Dean Sellers, who as part of a planned rotation, will return to Reznick’s Charlotte office and resume his role as a Director in the firm’s National Audit & Assurance practice.
