The November 4, 2011 story in The Gazette features an interview with William T. Riley, Jr., Principal in Reznick Group's Baltimore office. Riley was asked to discuss recent studies on the business climate within Maryland, including business growth, unemployment rates, health care mandates and tax climate.
"We lost a key battle for a corporate headquarters to Virginia last year," said Riley, referring to Northrop Grumman, which moved from Los Angeles. "And we face other battles. These studies tell us why we fight that battle."
The interview took place at the Maryland Chamber of Commerce's Business Policy Conference at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort in Cambridge, in which Riley moderated as the Maryland chamber's board chairman.
